Matthews Stands - My workhorse stands

I have been a big fan of the Matthews stands, used a lot in cinema, but great in the professional photography studio. Far to often I see people using under sized stands to hold their expensive lights and modifiers.

For me, these stands outperform a C-Stand because they can accept standard C-Stand Grip Heads and Grip Arms, thus giving me a sorta 2-in-1 stand.

A bit to bulky if you constantly going on location in a compact car or perhaps if photography is just a hobby.

For my general purpose stands that I travel with for lighter loads, I use the PBL stands for general purpose stuff.

I have two sizes in my studio:
